Behind the Song

Sometimes a song doesn’t begin with a melody.

Sometimes it begins with a single thought.

Every Story Matters.

At first, I simply wanted to write a song that connected FALKN with those three words.

But the longer I thought about them, the bigger the picture became.

Suddenly, it wasn’t about a slogan anymore.

It was about people.

I imagined millions of people waking up every morning—people who quietly keep the world moving. The baker preparing the first loaf before sunrise. The construction worker arriving on site before dawn. The nurse finishing another night shift. The bus driver. The teacher. The mother making breakfast for her children.

People whose names we may never know.

Not because they’re famous.

Not because cameras are pointed at them.

But because this is their story.

Every person carries a story. Some are filled with joy, others with pain, and many with hope. Yet every day we pass one another without ever knowing what someone else is carrying inside.

That was the moment Every Story Matters took on an entirely new meaning.

The first versions of the song still didn’t feel right. They explained the idea—but they didn’t make you feel it.

Then another image appeared.

I stopped imagining a song.

I started imagining a moment.

A massive stage. Thousands of people. The music doesn’t begin immediately. Instead, the singer looks out into the crowd and quietly says:

„Come… share your story.“

For just a brief moment, the song no longer belongs to the artist.

It belongs to the people.

Maybe someone is thinking about their father.

Someone else remembers their children.

A lost friend.

A new beginning.

Or a dream they never gave up on.

In that moment, everyone experiences a different story.

Only then does the music begin again.

Not as a concert.

But as a shared experience.

The chorus isn’t simply sung.

It is carried by thousands of voices.

Every Story Matters.

Not because the song says so.

But because, in that moment, every single person knows that their own story belongs there too.

Maybe this song will never be performed in front of thousands of people.

Maybe one day it will.

But if even one person hears it and, for just a moment, remembers their own story…

…then Every Story Matters has already fulfilled the reason it was written.
