Why The First FALKN Product Became A Hoodie

Every product starts with a simple question.

When I began thinking about the first FALKN product, I asked myself:

What piece of clothing is both useful and able to create a feeling of comfort and security?

At first, I thought about a simple sweatshirt.

But sitting at home one evening, I started wondering why certain pieces of clothing feel different from others. Why do some items make you feel comfortable the moment you put them on?

My eyes landed on one of my hoodies.

I remembered cold and windy days when the hood helped protect me from the weather and kept me warm. In that moment I realized that a hoodie offers something a regular sweatshirt does not.

The hood provides protection.

The front pocket gives you a place to warm your hands.

And when I imagined an oversized fit, another piece of the puzzle fell into place. The relaxed cut adds comfort, freedom of movement, and a feeling of being wrapped in something familiar.

Suddenly all the ideas I had been thinking about came together.

Protection.

Comfort.

Warmth.

Function.

A feeling of security.

That was the moment it became clear:

FALKN’s first product had to be a hoodie.
